Job Vacancies – Geophysical & UXO Survey Project (United Kingdom – Offshore)
Start Date: Approximately 8th December
Duration: Approximately 1 week
Location: United Kingdom (inside 12nm limit)
Project: RTE / LD TravOcean – Geophysical & UXO Survey (MBES, SSS, TVG)
Important Note
Due to the work location inside UK territorial waters, UK nationals only can be considered for these roles.
Available Positions
1. Party Chief
Start Date: Approx. 8th December
Positions Needed: 1
Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead offshore survey operations and team coordination
-
Ensure data quality, project compliance, and daily reporting
-
Liaise with client representatives and manage workflow
2. Senior Online Surveyor (Qinsy)
Start Date: Approx. 8th December
Positions Needed: 1
Key Responsibilities:
-
Oversee online survey acquisition using Qinsy
-
Monitor and QC geophysical and UXO data streams
-
Support Party Chief in technical decision-making
3. Online Surveyor (Qinsy)
Start Date: Approx. 8th December
Positions Needed: 1
Key Responsibilities:
-
Execute online survey acquisition tasks
-
Operate Qinsy, monitor data, and maintain logs
-
Assist with vessel setup and calibration checks
4. Survey Engineer
Start Date: Approx. 8th December
Positions Needed: 1
Key Responsibilities:
-
Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of survey sensors
-
Ensure optimal performance of MBES, SSS, TVG and related equipment
-
Support data acquisition teams during operations
General Requirements (All Roles)
-
Eligible UK national
-
Valid offshore certification (BOSIET/FOET or equivalent, medical)
-
Proven experience in relevant offshore survey roles
-
Strong understanding of geophysical and UXO survey operations
-
Ability to work effectively within a short-duration, fast-paced project
