Elevate Offshore Hosts First Subsea Sundowner in Perth as Australian Operations Gain Momentum

Perth, 3 October 2025 — Elevate Offshore marked the opening of its new Australian presence with its first Subsea Sundowner at Bob’s Bar, the rooftop venue at Print Hall in Perth, bringing together clients, colleagues, and friends from across the local subsea community.

Held in a relaxed and welcoming setting, the evening offered an opportunity to connect with both familiar faces and new contacts while celebrating Elevate Offshore’s growing presence in the region. The intimate turnout created space for genuine conversations, from upcoming projects and local opportunities to shared perspectives on what’s shaping up to be a strong offshore and subsea market heading into the new year.

A Warm Welcome and a Positive Outlook

Reflecting on the event and his first weeks in Australia, Gwilym Conran, General Manager – Australia, said:

“My first couple of weeks have been both productive and deeply rewarding. It’s been fantastic to see how warmly our presence has been received. Clients are genuinely pleased to have us here, and the energy around our engagement has been incredibly positive.”

Gwilym noted that the outlook across offshore and subsea remains particularly strong, with momentum building well into 2026.

“We had the opportunity to connect with an intimate but highly engaged group, which allowed for meaningful conversations and quality time with each attendee. A highlight was having several of our Elevate colleagues join us before heading to site — their time with the management team reinforced the strength of our collaborative approach.”

“The Way It Should Be Done”

Andrew Blears, Managing Director, also reflected on the event and Elevate’s first week on the ground:

“Our first official week in Australia was exactly what we hoped for — productive, rewarding, and full of great conversations with clients who were genuinely pleased to see us on the ground.

The Subsea Sundowner in Perth was a fantastic way to mark the occasion. It brought together a close-knit group from across the subsea industry, and the discussions throughout the evening were open, constructive, and forward-looking.

There’s a great deal of momentum building across offshore and subsea heading into the new year, and being here in person makes all the difference. The feedback from clients and colleagues has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re growing quickly, building local capability, and ready to support our Australian clients properly — the way it should be done.”

Looking Ahead

Elevate Offshore’s presence in Australia marks the start of an exciting new chapter as the company strengthens its capability to support clients and contractors across the country’s offshore and subsea industries. With strong engagement already underway and new projects on the horizon, the team remains focused on delivering the same collaborative, people-first approach that defines Elevate Offshore’s work globally.
