Job Description:
Geophysicists Required – Australia
Elevate Offshore is currently seeking 2 Geophysicists for an upcoming offshore project in Australia, commencing 21 December 2026 for an initial 2-week duration.
The successful candidates will be responsible for side scan sonar survey data acquisition, processing, and reporting. We are particularly interested in personnel with experience operating ROV-mounted side scan sonar systems and associated acquisition and processing software.
Desired Experience
- Side scan sonar survey data acquisition and interpretation
- EdgeTech 2000 ROV-mounted Side Scan Sonar or equivalent
- EdgeTech Discover acquisition software or equivalent
- SonarWiz processing software or equivalent
- Offshore geophysical survey reporting
Minimum Requirements
- Valid OPITO BOSIET/FOET
- Current OEUK Medical
Preferred
- Australian nationals or personnel based in Australia
- Previous experience in offshore side scan sonar surveys
