Senior Surveyor – Offshore
Start Date: 13 July 2026
End Date: 09 October 2026
Location: Offshore
Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to support offshore survey operations on a long-term project. This role will involve managing and executing online survey activities, ensuring high-quality data acquisition, and supporting offshore deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform online survey operations offshore
- Monitor and manage data from multiple survey sensors and positioning systems
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all survey data collected
- Support daily survey activities, including calibrations and system checks
- Assist with the preparation of as-built survey deliverables
- Report directly to the Offshore Survey Party Chief and support daily operations onboard
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience as a Surveyor in offshore or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment
- Proven experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems
- Experience with subsea acoustic positioning systems and multibeam echosounders
Non-Technical Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy
- Flexible and adaptable to different offshore project environments
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
- Valid right to work in the project location (visa/work permit as required)
Certifications Required
- Full GWO
- VCA
- BOSIET
- HUET
- Shoulder Measurement
- Chester Step Test
- NEBOSH
Languages
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Additional language skills are advantageous
